The role

 

We’re looking for an Product Operations Manager to join our Retail Team

 

As a Product Operations Manager you will work across the Buying, Merchandising, Sourcing, Product innovation and Logistics functions developing our planning and trading capabilities from conception to delivery.  Tracking competitor pricing and promotional activities, establishing best practise within our Merchandise planning and WSSI management. Working closely with Marketing to deliver strong trading plans and with Logistics and Supply Chain to improve our intake management.

 

What will you do as Product Operations Manager at N Brown?

  • Design, development, implementation & embedding of Merchandise planning solutions.
  • Drive & promote Merchandise planning best practice across the Product Function.
  • Design and deliver concise competitor product, pricing and promotional analysis.
  • Design and Manage product Training process ensuring the structure and process delivers the required support to the product function.
  • Manage the communication, sign off and handover of relevant forecasts and ensure they are consistent within the areas surrounding Stock, Intake, Despatches and ultimately Margin
  • Produce, communicate and update logistics capacity, despatch and intake forecasts.
  • Produce a weekly competitor promotional analysis report.
  • Produce a monthly competitor pricing analysis report.
  • Take a leading role in developing and implementing any major system development in the Merchandise planning and forecasting areas.
  • Any other duties required by the line manager that are appropriate with the post, grade and level of responsibility of this role, for which the role holder has the necessary experience and/or training.
  • Manage their teams efficiently, effectively and fairly. Ensure that business defined Performance management processes are adhered to and an appropriate CDF is in place for all members of staff

What skills and experience will you have?

  • Degree level.
  • 5 -10 years Product, Supply chain and Logistics experience.
  • SQL

Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!

Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am - 4pm. Given we don’t have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that’s right for you.
