N Brown – who we are and why work for us?
At N Brown, we’re committed to building a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive environment that values equality for all. Our vision is that by ‘championing inclusion, we’ll become the most loved and trusted fashion retailer’. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging are, therefore, at the heart of our culture.
We’re a forward-thinking digital retailer with a financial services proposition to be proud of. We’re customer-obsessed, serving them through three core brands: JD Williams, Simply Be, and Jacamo. We’re experienced, with over 160 years of trading under our belt. We’re inclusive, as we believe in fashion without boundaries; and we’re sustainable, striving to make as little impact on the planet as possible.
In May 2024 we were delighted to be named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024. We work hard to create a happy and inclusive culture for everyone and we’re so proud to have made this list - as voted for by our very own colleagues!
The Role
At N Brown, we have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house Digital Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced PPC Manager to manage and oversee multi-million-pound Paid Search campaigns as part of our Simply Be tribe. Reporting directly into the Group PPC Manager you will work closely with internal teams to ensure commercial objectives are hit. You will work closely with external partners Google, Microsoft, and our Media Agency to drive innovation within the Paid Search space to keep N Brown at the forefront of the PPC industry.
What you’ll be responsible for as a PPC Manager:
* Delivering on-budget and on-target campaigns that drive business growth and profitability.
* Managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of your team to ensure business KPIs are met.
* Defining and implementing best practice guidelines and ways of working for the team in conjunction with the Group PPC Manager
* Managing day-to-day relationships with internal Trade, Marketing and Product teams to ensure business goals and objectives are achieved.
* Managing day-to-day relationships with key external partners, and ensuring hours are used effectively to support business goals.
* Identifying areas of opportunity within the accounts to maximise performance and ROI.
* Drawing valuable insights from data to inform business leaders and help shape future decision making within the team.
* Supporting the Group PPC Manager with strategy & planning
* Line management a PPC Executive, providing training/up-skilling where required and ensuring high employee performance and engagement.
* Monitoring key industry trends and updates, ensuring you remain an expert in your field.
* Working alongside Google and our Agency partners, ensuring we are the first to test and trial new products in the market.
What we are looking for
* 4+ years’ PPC experience with experience of a retail business (required)
* Experience managing a team (ideal)
* Experience working with SA360 and Google Analytics (preferable)
* A ‘growth’ mindset and the ability to constantly learn new trends and new skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail.
* A problem solver with an appetite to think outside the box and challenge convention
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* A great team player who enjoys contributing to the wider success of a business
